Meet Dr. Gaston Ofman, MD. At the heart of our concierge pediatric practice is Dr. Gaston Ofman, a double-boarded pediatrician and neonatologist, certified in both Pediatrics and Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine. Dr. Ofman brings years of experience from prestigious institutions, having trained and worked in some of the leading academic centers in the United States.
Dr. Ofman completed his Pediatric Residency at the University of Texas Southwestern, where he gained comprehensive experience in general pediatrics and neonatal-perinatal medicine. His dedication to pediatric care led him to further specialize in neonatal medicine through his Neonatology Fellowship at Northwestern University in Chicago, where he developed expertise in treating newborns with complex medical needs, particularly those born prematurely or with other high-risk conditions.
A dedicated researcher and clinician, Dr. Ofman has led multiple studies aimed at improving the health outcomes of premature infants. His work has been published extensively in top medical journals, with a focus on lung development, mitochondrial biomarkers, and the immunologic response of infants to respiratory illnesses.
Currently, Dr. Ofman serves as Staff Neonatologist at HCA Northwest Hospital, where he continues to provide exceptional care to newborns and infants while remaining active in research and mentorship.
